Tournament Overview:

The Yaad Treasures Heroes of Yaad Tournament celebrates the rich culture of Jamaica through fast-paced, strategic card play. Compete in thrilling matches to create powerful Yaad Sets and score the most Yaad Points. Available on both iOS and Android!

Match Format:

Players will face off in group matches, using the Play With Friends feature to compete for the top score. After each match, the winner from each group will advance to the next round. Each match will be monitored, and the highest-scoring players will be declared Heroes of Yaad.

Player Groups:

Players will be grouped into 4-player matches in the first round. The winner from each group will advance to the next round of the tournament, where the final Yaad Champions will be crowned.

Game Modes:

Each match will be played using the standard Yaad Treasures game rules. Players must form sets using cards from Jamaica's iconic suits like Reggae, Dancehall, Cuisine, and more, as they strategize their way to victory.

Scoring System:

Players earn Yaad Points by creating sets of matching cards from different cultural suits. The more complex the set, the higher the points. Special Wild Cards can be used strategically to disrupt opponents and take control of the game.

Game Setup:

Players must have the Yaad Treasures app installed on either Android or iOS devices. Matches will be initiated through the Play With Friends feature, with codes provided to each group before their match begins.

Match Rules:

Once a match starts, players must complete the game without pauses. If a player disconnects, the game will continue without them. All match results will be submitted and confirmed by the Table Host.

Match Duration:

Each match is expected to last between 10-20 minutes, depending on the complexity of play and strategies used. Results should be submitted immediately after the match concludes.
